WHOLENESS

I am whole.


With all my shame and fear


and all of my humanness


this touch has restored me.




And this is the simple miracle:


One heart seeking to heal


animates the body and


touches the one laying in wait.

 
And through this reverent

 
touch, eases her pain


and speaks to her heart.

 
And the circle is complete.

 
We are whole.
